The 3×3 Dinners group 3 business and 3 technical entrepreneurial students. The objective is to provide a small group setting in which like minded students from both sides of the river can better get to know one another in a more substantial way, bringing our communities closer to one another.

We ran 2 pilot groups to test this concept on March 22^nd with promising results. The folks involved gave very positive feedback about the experience and enjoyed getting to know one another in a small social setting.

For the business side of the group, we’re focused on students actively working on or seriously interested in launching tech startups while still in school. For the technical side, we’ve partnered with Peter Boyce and Harvard College Venture Partners to reach out to tech savvy students from the main campus.

Logistics: We’re tentatively considering two dates – April 7 and/or April 21, both Thursdays – to have the dinners. We’ll pre-arrange the dinner locations. We ran 2 groups during the pilot but we’re aiming for 3 or 4 groups for the next round. If you’re interested in participating, please fill out the form below. Just a reminder that our Hack Nights have moved from Wednesday nights to Tuesday nights. Come hang out with us on Tuesday night 9pm-2am in Maxwell-Dworkin! Daniel Saks, the founder and CEO of AppDirect, is in Boston and wants to host a small group dinner with students on Monday night (April 11th).

AppDirect (www.appdirect.com) is a business app marketplace (think iTunes for business cloud apps) that recently got $3M funding. AppDirect, based in San Francisco, is hiring interns and graduates for business roles. Space is limited to the first 10 students.
